Hi Guyz!

I just realized that weatherfeed does not refresh the forecast. It still diplays a forecast for Friday, though it's Friday already.

Can someone help me?

Thanks,

rob

Hi

The zWeatherFeed plugin gets the latest results from the Yahoo! weather feed, including the forecast which may be today and tomorrow or tomorrow and the following day.

It depends on when Yahoo! update the feed.

Hi there,
I'm having a similar issue. Here is the code I'm using:

$('#weather').weatherfeed(['UKXX0070'],{
          unit: 'c',
          image: true,
          country: false,
          highlow: false,
          wind: false,
          humidity: false,
          visibility: false,
          sunrise: false,
          sunset: false,
          forecast: false,
          link: false
     });

However the current weather is not updated until the page is refreshed. How can I get it to automatically update, say every 30 minutes?

Thanks

Hi

This is not an issue. The plugin gets the weather feed data from Yahoo! and displays it.

If you wish to update the information automatically you can just set jQuery timer and call the function again.

See the window.setInterval function in the jQuery docs.

I am having trouble getting setInterval to work.

This is what I tried:

setInterval( refreshWeather(), 3600000);

function refreshWeather(){
   $('#nadWeather').weatherfeed( ['4125'], { woeid: true, unit: 'c' } );
}

But its not working as expected -the weatherfeed is updating without refreshing the page.

Hi

I am unsure of how you expect it to work? The interval timer will be fired without refreshing, so will update the weather feed.
